Rotary Forged process
A cast wheel is secured onto the rotary forging drum, and controlled heat is applied to prepare the material for shaping.
Powerful hydraulic rollers move down the barrel while applying pressure, gradually elongating the wheel as a result.
The aluminium is stretched and compressed, extending the barrel to the precise width required for the design.
This refining process enhances the metal’s properties, resulting in a barrel that’s both lighter and more robust, closely resembling the strength of a forged wheel.
